Rooted in California

Farming is the most important job on this planet, but it’s unpredictable and difficult. And sometimes, it seems almost impossible to financially come out on top.

Our founders saw an opportunity to increase farmers’ access to the supplies they need at better prices. We created HarvestPort to connect the dots from farmer to farmer and farmer to supplier, and to give farmers more security in an insecure business.

Established 2015

Our mission

HarvestPort is dedicated to removing barriers for farmers in the agricultural supply chain and to helping design a more sustainable agricultural ecosystem.

What began as a shared economy marketplace for farming equipment (watch our story) has expanded to include targeted deals on crop inputs and customized seasonal procurement. We work with both organic and conventional farmers, saving them time and money by sourcing the products and services they need.

Why HarvestPort?

Our team knows farming. HarvestPort is a collection of agronomists, crop advisors, and entreprenuers, who are passionate about serving farmers and improving efficiency in the agricultural supply chain. We partner with trusted retailers and manufacturers to offer a collaborative procurement experience that serves both farmers and suppliers.

We’re committed to providing farmers with balanced options to help them improve soil health and land management practices and meet their economic and sustainability goals.
